Janet Khoo Praising God
Praise God ! God is doing his work of healing on His children. Just before Christmas, our dear sister, Janet Khoo had a fall and had to be in cast and bed for a while. During this time the church rallied around her and supported her through prayer.
But today Janet came to testify that God had healed her completely and wanted to give thanks to God in the midst of the Church Fellowship.
Our God Reigns. Amen
PCC a loving church
Brother Suren, who is a Hindu has often come to worship at Peace Community Church. He has been away for about 3 months, back in his home in Myanmar. It was a great joy to see him back in church last Sunday 12 December. In the time of testimony, Suren shared how he had spoken to his family of the need to have God in their lives. He said that his faith in God increased as he worshiped at Peace Community Church. He also said that he was able to share with his family the love he has experienced here at Peace Community. His family thanks Peace Community for our care and love shown to Suren. The saw a difference in him.
The above Conference was held over the week end at St. Paul’s, PJ. A number of our members attended this. This conference is about re-discovering the “Father’s love” A very good Conference led by an International team from YWAM. Senior Pastor Fred has decided that this Conference will be run every year for the next four years to give an opportunity for all to learn to deal with our emotions.
Brother Alan Cheong, a senior member shared that he now understands why he behaves the way he does. He says the conference has helped him to take a new approach to life despite being in the mid sixties.
Brother Emmanuel from Tanzania, says that the Conference has helped him to forgive his father who left him at the age of 4. He now has love for his father and on his return to his home he is going to ask his father to forgive him. Amen. Brother Emmanuel also shared that he now knows how to love his son. Praise the Lord.
Mina coming out of the waters of baptism
Mina who was baptised on 1st January 2010 testified the next week in church that as she went down into the waters of baptism, there in front of her under water she saw bright lights. She was so amazed and just wanted to remain there in that sense of awe. Praise the Lord.
Jesus said ,”I am the light of the world.” So when a person gives himself or herself to obeying the commands of Jesus and to be baptised, His lights shines through them and drives away all the darkness in their lives. God gave Mina an assurance that He is with her. Amen and praise the Lord for his goodness.
Early in the year, David Palan thought that he would not see another Christmas, David had a relapse of his cancer and was was being treated. God was so good to David in that he had a supportive wife and family members. Also, coming along side him were the numerous Christian brothers and sister who never failed and cease to pray for him. It is now December and in a fortnight we will come to Christmas. David came to worship with us at Peace Community Church and gave his testimony of God’s healing power in his life. It was a very powerful testimony of God’s greatness and glory.
As he finished his testimony, Senior Pastor, Fred stood up and asked the church to pray with him for complete healing for brother David. Ps. Fred ended by singing the first line of , ” Christmas isn’t Christmas “… if David was isn’t around. David will see many more Christmases. All Glory to God.
