Stained Glass Plaque

Rays of the Spirit

On the occasion of the Dedication of Peace Community Church, Isabelle Ng designed and hand painted a stained glass plaque on which the Bishop signed. The Plaque depicts rays from the Holy Spirit radiating outwards in the colours of the rainbow.  This reminds us that Peace Community Church is guided by the  Holy Spirit and that God’s promise to Noah in the form of the rainbow is also a promise for us. We need to be obedient to the Lord as our forefathers were.

God give us the grace to walk in their ways. Amen

We thank Isabelle for her love for her church and the stained glass plaque will be placed on the wall in the sanctuary above the Certificate of Dedication.

Overseas Visitors

The Rt Rev David Bentley and his wife were at the Dedication service of Peace Community at the invitation of Bishop Moon Hing. Bishop David was representing the Bishop of Lichfield at the 40th Anniversary Celebrations of the Diocese.

It was a privilege to have him and others with us at the service.

Moving In

As we wait to move into the new premises, there is a sese of great expectancy. For one we believe that Peace Com will have a great frontage. We are also  looking forward to see a permanent sign going up. This will now signify that there is in existence a Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Bukit Jalil. Pray with us that God will cause the eyes of people will be opened and will seek Him at Peace Com. We want to bring God’s peace to every home and every heart

Renovation of New Church @ “The Link”

Praise the Lord. We will be soon moving into our new unit at No. 1 “The Link” The electrical works have been completed. We are now having the air-conditioning units installed. And this week we should have the carpet laid. Please pray that we would be able to solve the sound reflection problems. Pray for the team as they hang the curtains and drapes.

One of the highlights would be the construction of the back drop where the Lord’s Table will be placed. Pray that this will add to beauty and serenity of the Sanctuary.

We hope to be in the new place by the following week. Come visit us in the new place.

New Premises

The leadership team has placed a deposit for a unit at No.2 “The Link ” Bukit Jalil for our new church. They met at a coffee shop tonight (21 Jan) to work out some details for the renovation work. We hope to have the keys to the premises on Saturday and have invited a number of contractors to view the work to be done. At the moment it will cost over RM60,000.00 to get the place ready for us to move in. Please pray that the Lord will provide us with the funds. Please pray that we will have good contractors to do a great job for a Great God. Peace Community Church is now position for growth. AMEN

Meet  Lee Yet Ying, who came to Church through running into her former teacher in a shopping mall. Her teacher is no other than Sis. Kon (as we know her,) who has this great desire to bring people to church. Amen. Yet Ling stayed on to participate in our carol practice for the Christmas celebration. At the end of the worship she asked if she could be prayed for as she was expecting the results of her examinations soon. A group of sisters and pastor prayed for her. She was so cheerful and happy that she asked if she could bring her boy friend to the Christmas celebration on 21 December. Yet Ling you are always welcomed at Peace Community Church. God bless you.

“The Lord’s Acre”

Peace Community Church has been promised a piece of land.  On Saturday some of the leaders went to the site to view it. It is just beautiful, situated well in a valley and with a commanding view for the highway. The land has been prepared and ready for building. Please pray as we do the necessary paper for the application that the Lord’s hand would be upon this acre of land.

As we stood there we prayed and claimed the land for the Lord and for Peace Community Church.

Praise the Lord.
